For the "Highlight of Shenzhen Auto Show," the aim was to create a cutting-edge visual experience that dramatically showcased new vehicle launches and brand innovation. Our lighting design critically featured Dynamic Tubes, strategically deployed to sculpt the exhibition space. These versatile tubes delivered sleek, futuristic light lines that animated the stage, creating a sense of speed and technological advancement around the vehicles. Programmed to synchronize with presentations and music, they produced captivating light sequences, drawing visitors' eyes and building palpable excitement. This intelligent application of dynamic tube lighting was essential in elevating the auto show's aesthetic, making each reveal a high-impact, memorable event and reinforcing Shenzhen's reputation for innovation.

◉ Case Brief
The 2021 Shenzhen Auto Show was a large-scale automotive event in South China, attracting many major global automotive brands and showcasing numerous cutting-edge automotive technologies. It served as a key platform for car brands to demonstrate their strength and design capabilities. Our company participated with our core product - lifting light tubes. These tubes can adjust their height up and down, and display content clearly through the transparent tube body, adding vivid light and shadow effects to automotive booths.
They are suitable for both large and small vehicle models, and the combination of light, shadow and car design looks particularly stunning. Becoming a popular highlight at the show, they let people see that these lifting light tubes are also highly practical in non-performance scenarios like auto shows.
◉ Exhibition Background and Participation Purpose
The 2021 Shenzhen International Auto Show, themed "Technology · Future · Life", gathered over 100 automotive brands with an exhibition area of 200,000 square meters, attracting more than 600,000 visitors. It was extremely influential in China's automotive industry that year. Beyond the conventional display of complete vehicles, the exhibition emphasized the integrated innovation of "automotive + technology" and "automotive + design", setting higher requirements for the visual effects of booths and the visiting experience.
Our participation was not a random decision but based on in-depth research into the needs of auto shows. As consumers now value quality more when buying cars, automotive brands are increasingly focused on conveying their brand concepts through booth design. The traditional fixed lighting can no longer meet the needs of creative displays. Therefore, we deliberately took lifting light tubes as our key exhibits, aiming to use the platform of the Shenzhen Auto Show to show automotive brands and exhibition service providers how practical these lifting light tubes are in commercial exhibitions. We wanted to break the perception that such equipment can only be used in concerts and theaters, and explore new markets.
◉ Core Exhibit
Advantages and Adaptability of Lifting Light Tubes
The lifting light tubes exhibited at the Shenzhen Auto Show were our star products upgraded specifically for exhibition scenarios, combining height-adjustable technology and transparent display features. Their main advantages are reflected in three aspects:
01. Height Adjustability: Adapting to Various Booth Layouts
The product is equipped with a high-precision lifting device, which can move smoothly within a height range of 0 to 3 meters. The lifting speed can be adjusted freely between 0.1 and 0.5 meters per second, meeting the needs of different booth heights and display rhythms. For common scenarios in automotive booths such as "rotating vehicle displays" and "multi-layered booth designs", the lifting light tubes can be pre-programmed to adjust their height automatically. For example, when displaying a large vehicle like an SUV, the tubes rise to a height of 2.5 meters to create a grand light and shadow atmosphere; when switching to a small new energy vehicle, they lower to 1 meter to highlight the details of the car body, with light and shadow accurately matching the characteristics of the vehicle.
Additionally, the motor used for lifting is extremely quiet, operating at a noise level below 30 decibels. Even in the noisy environment of the auto show, it can lift and lower quietly and smoothly without disturbing the staff's explanations or affecting visitors' experience. This detailed design fully meets the requirements of commercial exhibitions for equipment operation quality.
02. Clear and Transparent Lighting: Seamless Integration of Light, Shadow and Car Design
The tube body is made of highly transparent material with a light transmittance of 92%, and is equipped with high-definition display components with 54 pixels per meter. It can not only display brand logos, vehicle parameters and other information clearly, but also highlight the linear beauty of the car body through light and shadow refraction. For instance, at a luxury brand booth, we placed lifting light tubes around the exhibition vehicle. Thanks to the transparency of the tubes, light and shadow passed through them and projected onto the car body, clearly outlining the waistline of the body and the three-dimensional contour of the wheels, making the details of the car design more visually striking.
Moreover, the tubes can display 16.7 million colors and switch colors in real time according to the main color of the automotive brand. For example, they match new energy brands with technological blue light and sports cars with energetic red light, achieving a perfect integration of light, shadow and brand tone. This ability to "customize light and shadow" is one of the key advantages attracting automotive brand customers.
03. Intelligent Control: Convenient Operation and Linked Display
To facilitate quick setup and flexible adjustments at the exhibition site, the lifting light tubes are equipped with two control methods: they support both on-site touch screen operation, allowing staff to set the lifting height, light color and display content through an intuitive interface; and wireless remote control, which can be linked with the central control system of the booth. At the auto show, when the host introduced the highlights of the vehicle, the background could simultaneously trigger the lifting of the tubes and changes in light and shadow. For example, when explaining the power system, the tubes quickly rose to the top while the light flowed dynamically, intuitively conveying the impression of "speed and power".
The equipment also supports group control, enabling multiple tubes to be divided into different groups to create effects such as "wave-like lifting" and "synchronous flashing". Combined with other booth equipment like LED screens and movable display boards, it creates an immersive vehicle display space. We exhibited a total of 24 lifting light tubes this time, and the "light and shadow waterfall" effect created through group linkage became the iconic scene of our booth attracting visitors.
◉ On-Site Display
Creative Combination of Light, Shadow and Automobiles
To allow people to intuitively experience the effects of the lifting light tubes, we designed a "1+3" display mode for our booth: with 1 popular new energy concept car as the core display object, 3 groups of lifting light tubes (8 tubes per group) were arranged around it, creating three functional areas: "Static Contour Display Area", "Dynamic Interactive Experience Area" and "Information Transmission Demonstration Area".
In the Static Contour Display Area, the lifting light tubes were fixed at a height of 1.5 meters around the exhibition vehicle. Cold-toned light and shadow outlined the car body, and when combined with the mirrored floor material, it created a sense of technology as if "the car was floating in light and shadow", attracting many visitors to stop and take photos. The Dynamic Interactive Experience Area was equipped with touch-sensing devices. When visitors touched the screen to select a vehicle color, the tubes immediately switched to the corresponding color and slowly lifted and lowered, realizing real-time interaction between "people, vehicles and light and shadow". In the Information Transmission Demonstration Area, the tubes scrolled to display key parameters such as the vehicle's range and intelligent configurations while lifting and lowering, turning boring text information into vivid light and shadow content.
This immersive display method not only allowed people to quickly understand the advantages of the lifting light tubes, but also clearly conveyed the solution of "using light and shadow to enhance vehicle displays" to automotive brand customers. During the exhibition, booth design directors from more than 10 automotive brands including BMW, BYD and NIO made special visits for consultations and highly recognized the creative application of the lifting light tubes.
◉ Exhibition Effects and Industry Impact
The results of this participation in the Shenzhen Auto Show exceeded our expectations. Firstly, brand awareness was significantly enhanced. Through on-site displays and demonstrations, more than 200 exhibition service providers and 15 automotive brands reached preliminary cooperation intentions, among which 3 automotive brands immediately decided to use our lifting light tubes for their booths in subsequent regional auto shows. Secondly, the application scope of the product was expanded. Previously, lifting light tubes were mainly used in scenarios like concerts and theaters, but this exhibition made people realize that they are also suitable for commercial exhibitions such as auto shows and real estate exhibitions, opening up a new market track for the product.
In terms of industry impact, the participation of our lifting light tubes broke the barrier between stage equipment and commercial exhibitions, providing new visual design ideas for the exhibition industry. Later, many exhibition companies took the initiative to contact us to discuss the possibility of applying lifting light tubes to scenarios such as electronics exhibitions and luxury goods exhibitions, promoting the transformation of lifting light tubes from "equipment only for performance occasions" to "light and shadow solutions applicable in multiple fields".
This appearance at the 2021 Shenzhen Auto Show was not only a successful product display, but also an important milestone in our exploration of the cross-border market, laying a solid foundation for subsequent product upgrades and market layout.
