Adapting the Kinetic Strobe Bar – typically used in bar/club environments – for an academic forum required a "creative transformation" of its functions, toning down its wilder aspects and emphasizing its precision and mechanical elegance.

The event included multiple segments like speeches, awards ceremonies, opening ceremonies, and banquets. The lighting needed to switch seamlessly and accurately between these segments, enabling instant atmosphere transitions.
