FENGYI Lighting was commissioned to design and implement the lighting system for ATOM TOKYO -SHINJUKU-, aiming to create an immersive and visually striking nightclub experience. The client sought a design that would set the venue apart in Tokyo’s competitive nightlife market. The project’s scope covered full lighting system development, from conceptual design to hardware production, installation, programming, and commissioning, emphasizing interactive and kinetic lights effects to enhance guest engagement and reinforce the venue’s brand identity.

Varying ceiling heights and complex architecture made even light distribution difficult. Synchronizing kinetic arc lights with music required precise motion and pixel control, while smooth fixture movement and seamless transitions demanded advanced programming and on-site adjustments.
