For this evolution, the production again entrusted the emotional and visual core to a system of 144 kinetic meteor tube lights. The objective in Nanjing was to push beyond established patterns, utilizing the same number of fixtures to engineer more complex, multi-layered kinetic "counterpoints" to the music, creating a unique spatial dialogue that was distinctly crafted for this city and this performance.
