Hins Cheung's "The Next 20" concert series at the Hong Kong Coliseum was a celebration of his two-decade-long career, demanding a stage design that reflected both nostalgic intimacy and grand, theatrical spectacle. The creative vision required a transformative visual centerpiece capable of creating "wow" moments that would resonate emotionally with the audience. Our suspended kinetic performance spheres were selected as the signature scenic element, tasked with evolving from elegant atmospheric fixtures into dynamic, interactive performers that would define key segments of the show, symbolizing themes of ascension, reflection, and celestial connection.

The spheres had to serve multiple functions: as static, glowing orbs creating ambiance; as a slowly descending constellation; and as rapidly moving, choreographed kinetic sculptures. We deployed a fleet of large-diameter, internally illuminated kinetic spheres, each suspended on its own independent high-speed hoist system.
